We must be BAPTIZED.  Baptism is an immersion of the believer in water and represents the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Once we are baptized we are “in Christ” or have “put on Christ”. (Galatians 3:27)  It is at this point that the believer surrenders his life in faith and obedience to God.  Jesus, who has all authority in Heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18) has commanded we be baptized for the remission of sin or be condemned.  (Mark 16:16)
